Warehouse Manager - Johannesburg

Overview We currently have a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Manager, based at our Warehouse in the West Rand. Responsibilities The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the planning, organising, directing and controlling of all warehouse activities. The Warehouse Manager assists management in establishing warehouse performance objectives and standards. He/she is accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, housekeeping, and cost control. Key Performance Areas: * Direct and manage warehouse staff and daily operations. * Manage and monitor warehouse inventory and stock levels. * Maintain and improve warehouse efficiency and productivity. * Maintain and enforce high standards of housekeeping and safety. * Manage and monitor warehouse costs. * Ensure the accurate and timely dispatch and receipt of stock. * Conduct regular stock takes and manage stock discrepancies. * Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers. * Ensure adherence to all relevant company policies and procedures. Requirements: * Matric * At least 5 years experience in a warehouse management position * Experience in the handling of FMCG products advantageous. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong leadership and management skills. * Good problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work under pressure. * Computer literate * Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
