Warehouse Manager - Food Production Industry

Overview Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team in the food production industry in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and safe storage of raw materials and finished goods. Responsibilities Strategically control the Warehouse in conjunction with the company's policies and strategic objectives. Control the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Manage a team of warehouse staff to achieve optimal performance. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, stock turns, and order fulfillment rates. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Warehouse operations. Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory management, shipping, and receiving. Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety procedures and protocols. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management. Excellent leadership and management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Certifications such as OSHA or HACCP would be advantageous. Benefits Competitive salary package.
