Warehouse Manager
East Tamaki, Auckland based
My client is a New Zealand owned and operated company, developing and manufacturing a broad range of polyurethane and epoxy resins, coatings and adhesives. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse team and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and improve warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role in a large manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Forklift certification
