Warehouse Coordinator

Full Time 75000.00 - 80000.00

Job description

The role:

Our Client is an Australian family-owned business that has been operating in the local area for the past 65 years. Due to their continued growth, they now require the services of an experienced Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join their team.

This is a permanent position Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm

The Role:
  • Managing inventory, stock takes, cycle counts and raising orders as required
  • Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations with the yard hands to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment & receivables.
  • Supervising Yard Staff
  • Liaising with marketing and assisting with trade shows
  • Working with Suppliers
  • Organising skip bins
  • Organising car registrations and maintenance as required
  • Deliveries and pick-ups
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks
  • Assist installers when and as required
  • Organising workloads and jobs for installers
  • Organising pick up from Suppliers
  • Any other adhoc duties as required
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at a high level throughout the warehouse and yard
  • Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
  • Ensure quality service standards are compliant with internal and external stakeholders
  • 95% of the role will be required on the floor vs 5% admin


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in running a warehouse
  • MR Truck license
  • White card
  • Forklift License - minimum 2 years of experience
  • Possess a manual car license
  • Must be computer literate
  • You will be required to work outside
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in EXCEL and Outlook
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Essential criteria:

  • Fit and healthy and capable of lifting heavy loads
  • Manual Drivers license
  • MR License or willingness to obtain one
  • White card
  • Forklift License - minimum 2 years of experience
  • Previous Supervisory experience
