Wall and floor Tiler

• Interpreting plans, measuring, and marking surfaces to lay out tiling work accurately.
• Preparing wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, filling cracks and holes, and removing old tiles, adhesive, and grout.
• Applying waterproofing systems to surfaces before tiling, where required.
• Spreading adhesive on prepared surfaces and placing tiles precisely in position.
• Cutting and shaping tiles using specialized tools to fit around corners, edges, and obstacles like pipes and fittings.
• Aligning and spacing tiles correctly to ensure a professional finish.
• Applying grout between tiles, then cleaning and removing excess grout from surfaces.
• create decorative mosaic patterns using coloured tiles.
• install flooring using materials such as terrazzo, cement, granolithic, or similar composites.
• Lays ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.

Skills and experience

• must have an experience of atleast 1 year working as a wall and floor tiler.
• Applicant must have Certificate III or higher qualification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow the procedures accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to meet the deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
