VSD & PLC Sales Representative - KZN

We are currently seeking a dynamic and technically skilled VSD & PLC Sales Representative to join our client’s team in New Germany, KZN. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in variable speed drives (VSDs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support clients in automation and control system solutions. Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial automation sector

• Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding VSD and PLC systems

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations

• Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proper implementation of solutions

• Maintain records of sales activities, client communications, and market trends

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Requirements

• Matric certificate (minimum requirement)

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field

• Proven experience in sales within the VSD and/or PLC industry

• Strong technical knowledge of variable speed drives and programmable logic controllers

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to understand technical specifications and provide client-specific solutions

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
