VP - Regional Cash Sales Manager - Korea Desk, Global Transaction Banking Department GTBD, APAC - SMBC - Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

SMBC is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Cash Sales Manager to drive growth in our Cash Management business for Korea Headquartered businesses across APAC. This role can be based in Singapore or Korea and is responsible for the origination, development, and execution of transaction banking solutions for Korea inbound & outbound clients. Role will lead our Korea transaction banking strategy in the region and work closely with teams in other APAC markets to build a scalable and collaborative franchise. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute the regional strategy for Cash Management sales to Korean clients across APAC. * Focus on origination of new business opportunities and deepen existing client relationships. * Lead the development and execution of sales plans, including identifying target clients, product positioning, and pricing strategies. * Collaborate with product, technology, and implementation teams to deliver effective client solutions. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal partners, and industry peers. * Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals. * Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. * Achieve revenue targets and manage sales pipelines effectively. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in transaction banking, cash management, or a related field. * Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably with Korean clients. * Strong understanding of cash management products and services. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Fluency in Korean and English is required. * Experience working with APAC markets is a plus.
