VP of Business Analysis - Tangspac

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst – Digital Channels with a minimum of 15 years of banking experience to lead the strategic design and functional execution of our core banking channel initiatives.

In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between Front Office business units, Digital Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams. You will drive target operating model (TOM) designs, lead enterprise-level requirement gathering, and manage end-to-end digital channel delivery roadmaps (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Relationship Manager Portals, and Assisted Digital Channels).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with business heads across Retail, Wealth, and Corporate Banking to align technology delivery roadmaps with overarching strategic goals.
  2. Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex functional requirements (FSDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for digital banking channels.
  3. End-to-End SDLC Governance: Drive functional scope across Agile/Hybrid execution models, overseeing business architecture, UAT/SIT strategy, defect resolution, and operational readiness.
  4. Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions to ensure channel features strictly adhere to local regulatory standards (e.g., cross-border rules, AML/KYC, authentication, data privacy, and security guidelines).
  5. Identify opportunities for process automation, workflow optimization, and enhanced digital customer journeys across self-service and assisted channels.
  6. Lead, coach the functional capabilities of junior and mid-level Business Analysts within the domain.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant banking experience, with a heavy focus on digital channels, core banking systems, or digital customer lifecycle platforms.
  2. Deep functional knowledge of Internet & Mobile Banking or other digital platform
  3. Proven track record in Agile and Hybrid project delivery environments. Advanced proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, flowcharts, and system mapping tools.
  4. Good experience in managing project from initiation to implementation
  5. Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate matrixed corporate environments.
