We are seeking an experienced and skilled VP - IFRS Controllership to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of financial reporting and accounting policies in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant standards. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing financial reporting and accounting policies that align with IFRS and other relevant standards; • Providing guidance and support to business units on financial reporting and accounting matters; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including the finance team, risk management, and compliance teams; • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices; • Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and other key partners. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; • At least 8 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting, preferably in a banking or financial services environment; • Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards; • Excellent communication and leadership skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
