The Christophorus-Gemeinschaft e.V. was founded in 1968 and is one of the established providers of integration assistance in Baden-Württemberg. It pursues an anthroposophically influenced approach in the support and assistance of individuals with support needs. The range of services includes housing, assistance in one's own home, workshops for people with disabilities, vocational training programs, support and care services, as well as diverse leisure and participation opportunities. The service offering is complemented by the subsidiary Sonnenhalde gGmbH, which provides further socio-therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults. Approximately 350 employees are dedicated to supporting people with support needs at several locations in Müllheim, Niederweiler, Kandern, and Görwihl.

The individuals entrusted to the Christophorus-Gemeinschaft are at the center of its actions. Based on this understanding, the board members shape the strategic direction and responsible leadership of the company.

For this client, conQuaesso is seeking an

Board Member for Integration Assistance (m/f/d)

in Müllheim, due to a retirement-related succession, as soon as possible.

• Together with your fellow board member, you will assume strategic and operational responsibility for the pedagogical orientation and future-oriented development of the Christophorus-Gemeinschaft.
• You will be responsible for housing, workshops for people with disabilities, vocational training, support and care services, as well as other socio-therapeutic services, including the supervision of the subsidiary Sonnenhalde gGmbH, with a total of around 500 places.
• With foresight, you will further develop person-centered and economically viable service offerings and align them with the future needs of integration assistance.
• You will actively shape change processes, promote modern organizational structures, and successfully implement strategic concepts together with managers and employees.
• As a persuasive personality, you will represent the organization to payers, authorities, network partners, and committees, conduct negotiations at eye level, and represent the Christophorus-Gemeinschaft internally and externally.

• A completed degree in social work, social management, pedagogy, or a comparable field forms your professional foundation; business administration knowledge is an advantage.
• Several years of management experience in the social economy – ideally within integration assistance or a complex social enterprise – as well as experience in the strategic further development of organizations and service offerings qualify you for this role.
• You combine sound knowledge of social law, particularly in integration assistance, with economic thinking and strong implementation skills.
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and decisiveness are as characteristic of you as integrity, self-reflection, and a appreciative, participation-oriented leadership style.
• Enjoyment of networking, openness to innovative solutions, and a good sense for societal developments and future needs complete your profile.
