Job description

As a Warehouse Assistant, you are the point of contact on the shop floor and ensure that everything runs smoothly in the warehouse. You work actively yourself, but also keep an overview and make sure your team knows what needs to be done.
Safely with the Shift Supervisor, to whom you report, monitor the planning, safety, and quality of the work activities.

What you will do:

• You lead the warehouse team and ensure a clear task assignment and planning;
• You work on all daily warehouse activities: receiving, storage, order picking, feeding production, and loading/unloading;
• You ensure that everything is done safely and in accordance with food safety regulations;
• You process administration in the system (Navision) and ensure that inventory matches;
• You signal bottlenecks and think actively about improvements;
• You motivate your team during the day start and ensures a good result together.

Our client is active within the food industry and is focused on processing nuts, seeds, and related articles. This modern, international production company has multiple locations in the Netherlands and is strongly growing.

Job requirements

You are someone who likes to work together, but also takes the lead. You keep your head cool, know how to handle things, and can switch between different tasks.

• Mbo-work and thinking level, through training or experience;
• Availability to work in day shift (06:00 - 14:00);
• Experience in a logistics environment, preferably in a comparable role;
• A valid forklift certificate (or willing to obtain one);
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with Navision;
• Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing;
• A proactive, communicative, and stress-resistant attitude.
