From Financial Leadership to Consultant (m/w/d)

Our customer is a specialized provider of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation and has been accompanying companies from the mid-sized enterprise to the international conglomerate in digitalizing their financial processes for many years. The focus is on comprehensive solutions around reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation based on modern BI technologies.
A Sr. Consultant with finance understanding, consulting competence, and analytical thinking is sought. In this role, you will accompany customers long-term in optimizing their financial and controlling processes and develop modern BI and planning solutions together with them.

Tasks

• Counseling and support of customers in the area of Business Intelligence, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation
• Analysis of professional requirements together with Finance, Controlling, and Consolidation Accounting
• Development of concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
• Translation of business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts
• Modeling and implementation of OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems
• Development and optimization of data integrations from ERP, financial, and pre-systems
• Accompaniment of customer projects from concept to commissioning
• Conducting workshops, user training, and presentations at the customer's site
• Long-term support and further development of existing customer solutions
• Support in Preliminary activities, solution concepts, and customer presentations

Qualification

• Degree in BWL, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields of study
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Financial Planning, and Consolidation
• Fundamental knowledge in Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, and Controlling processes
• Praxis in analyzing and optimizing financial and controlling processes
• Communication skills and confident appearance in exchange with customers and departments
• Analytical and structured working style with high self-responsibility
• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems
• Fluent German language skills for optimal customer counseling and communication within the team
• Occasional travel readiness for customer meetings and workshops (about 1x per month)
