*Please note that this is an unpaid voluntary role and that applicants must be over 18*
Become an Independent Visitor to support a young person in care. You will meet once or twice a month to take them out to do fun activities together. This is an opportunity for our young people to build a healthy relationship with a trusted adult, have fun and share their worries and feelings if they wish to do so.

- Initial training covering Safeguarding, Trauma and Loss, Communication, Boundaries and the IV role.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- We're looking for caring and thoughtful people who are committed to make a difference
- Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. We are particularly keen to recruit male volunteers and people from Global Majority communities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Enhanced DBS check will be carried out (at no cost to you)
- 2 references
- commit for a minimum of 12 months
- Must live/work locally (ie. South London/Croydon area) and be able to meet consistently with a young person once or twice a month
