In the Neumünster Prison Institution is a permanent full-time position for a Vollzugsabteilungsleitung (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) to be filled as soon as possible. About us The Neumünster Prison Institution is the central training institution for the prison system of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It has approximately 505 detention places for the enforcement of sentences from one to eight years in the initial custody and pre-trial detention for the Kiel District Court for male prisoners. Furthermore, it provides training and education for the staff of the prison system. The tasks of the Vollzugsabteilungsleitung (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) include: • Leading a team of around 20 employees in the Vollzugsabteilung; • Developing and implementing measures to improve the security and order within the institution; • Ensuring the smooth operation of the institution's daily routine; • Coordinating with other departments and institutions; • Participating in the development of policies and procedures. The successful candidate should have: • A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, criminology, sociology); • Several years of experience in a leadership position in the prison system or a comparable institution; • Excellent communication and leadership skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
