VoIP / SIP Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Transparency regarding salary:

This position is aimed at candidates with at least one year of relevant practical work experience in the VoIP/SIP field.

The salary range lies between 80,000 € and 100,000 € gross per year, depending on experience.

Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office).

With around 50 employees, a cooperative culture, and strong innovation focus, the company develops next-generation VoIP- and AI-based communication platforms that are used by thousands of companies across Germany.

Tasks

• Development, operation, and debugging of the SIP/VoIP platform

• Analysis and optimization of complex call flows to ensure quality and scalability

• Monitoring and maintenance of telecommunication core systems (SBCs, trunks, telephone platforms)

• Error detection in performance-, quality- and stability-related problems

• Support for incident management, escalations, and root cause analyses

Qualification

• Fundamental practical knowledge of SIP, RTP, and VoIP architectures

• Experience with trunking (SIP trunks), session border controllers (SBCs), and telecommunications/telephone platforms

• Outstanding analytical skills and troubleshooting competence in complex systems

• Reliability and dependability in critical incident situations

• German language skills at C1 level or higher, as well as fluent English

• At least 1 year of relevant experience with VoIP/SIP
