Your Role Will Involve

  • Provide career counselling and vocational guidance to ACC and MSD clients at different stages of their return-to-work journey
  • Complete career capability assessments, goals and plans
  • Support clients with CVs, cover letters, and job applications to help them present their best selves
  • Ensure physical rehabilitation needs are in place and are a priority
  • Coach individuals in job search strategies and interview preparation to build confidence and independence
  • Liaise with a range of suppliers and service providers to coordinate holistic client support
  • Manage case funding and documentation with attention to detail

What You'll Bring

This role requires some essential skills and qualifications. To be considered you must have the following:

  • Membership with CDANZ, RCSA, ASORC, or RCAA (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Tertiary qualification in Career Counselling, Social Work, Human Resources, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of two years' experience in vocational rehabilitation, employment services, or a related field
  • Proven experience delivering ACC contracts and services, including Back to Work and Initial Occupational Assessments (IOA).
  • The right to live and work in New Zealand
