As a Full-Stack Shopify Developer, you will join VO2 Brand Experience and work for our clients, demanding luxury and retail brands, whom we support throughout their digital experience. In this role, you will be on the application side: designing custom applications and back-end solutions that, within a Shopify context, address problems the platform does not natively solve.
Your main responsibilities:
- Shopify Product and Platform Development: embedded applications in the admin, extensions, automations, Admin GraphQL, custom data (metafields, metaobjects, files, markets, translations), OAuth, webhooks, request quotas and costs
- Themes and Content: synchronization of templates between stores, Liquid sections and content, translation transfer between markets.
- Architecture and Reliability: data modeling, long-running processes offloaded from web requests to job queues, idempotency and error recovery, consistency between the database and what the platform actually contains.
- Operations, Quality, and Documentation: deployments, monitoring, incident diagnostics in production, automated tests including failure cases, maintenance of a documented corpus, designed for use by both the team and AI agents you use daily.
- Product Ownership and Business Relations: technical scope arbitration, estimation and commitment keeping, workshops with e-commerce and retail teams, demos, operator training and support, technical pre-sales.
- Technical Environment: TypeScript, Node.js, React and React Router, Polaris, PostgreSQL and Drizzle, GraphQL, job queues, Liquid, containerized deployment, automated tests.

π― Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years minimum in full-stack web development, including significant e-commerce experience
- Mastery of the Shopify ecosystem: embedded apps, Admin GraphQL, custom data, themes and Liquid, platform constraints and limitations. Shopify Plus experience is a real plus.
- Solid back-end foundation: modeling and SQL, job queues and asynchronous processing, idempotency, production operation, testing. TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, React.
- Autonomy, enjoyment of direct business relations, ability to arbitrate scope and to say no with an alternative, comfort with AI development agents on a large codebase.
- English: perfectly comfortable with technical reading, it is a daily need (Shopify documentation, code, comments, written exchanges). In speaking, being understood and following a technical discussion is sufficient.
