Job Description The Value Optimization Engineer (VO) is responsible for planning, validating, and implementing cost reduction ideas to meet the Value Optimization Savings target by system and product area. The selected candidate will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, vehicle integration, purchasing, quality, finance, etc., in the thorough evaluation, validation, and presentation of recommended ideas and their respective business cases. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Planning, validating, and implementing cost reduction ideas to meet the Value Optimization Savings target by system and product area. • Collaborating with engineers, suppliers, vehicle integration, purchasing, quality, finance, etc., in the thorough evaluation, validation, and presentation of recommended ideas and their respective business cases. • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's cost structure and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. • Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. • Developing and presenting recommendations for cost reduction initiatives. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement recommended cost reduction initiatives. • Providing regular updates on progress towards the Value Optimization Savings target. • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with proposed cost reduction initiatives. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
