Your role as Aircraft Mechanic B2 Chinook / NH90 at the Royal Netherlands Air Force
Are you an experienced technician with a passion for aircraft maintenance and construction? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team responsible for keeping our helicopters and aircraft safe and operational? Then we are looking for you!
The advanced (combat) helicopters and aircraft of the Royal Netherlands Air Force are deployable day and night in all weather conditions, both in the Netherlands and abroad. It is very important that the aircraft are in perfect condition, which is why you, as Aircraft Mechanic B2, are responsible for the maintenance of the Chinook / NH90.
You analyze defects, repair or replace components, test systems after repair, and perform preventive maintenance. You are engaged in a maintenance overhaul to make the helicopter as good as new again after a large number of flight hours. Your work as a helicopter mechanic is vital, no matter what!
Job Requirements

- You have a completed MBO-3 or 4 diploma in Aircraft Engineering B2;
- You have relevant work experience or internship experience within the aviation sector;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
- You have an eye for detail and work accurately and according to the applicable regulations. You are responsible for your work and always strive to achieve the best results.
- You are a true team player, who enjoys working together and communicating well with colleagues.

In this role, you will work at the 980 Aircraft and Helicopter Maintenance unit. The 980 Squadron is responsible for maintenance, repair, modification, and overhaul work on aircraft and helicopters. Aircraft sheet metal work and painting are also part of this squadron's tasks.
