Vivid Resourcing - Freelance Enterprise Architect (Greenfield)

For a global customer in Brussels, we are searching for a Enterprise Architect for a greenfield project setting up a regional IT department from scratch. As Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and driving the enterprise-wide IT architecture for the customer. You will create a pragmatic application and integration roadmap for the next 12-24 months, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational needs, and Group standards. Responsibilities Design and own the entire IT architecture, including infrastructure, applications, data management, security, and compliance. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer's business processes, goals, and challenges. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that drive business value. Define and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the customer's overall business objectives. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications. Identify and mitigate potential risks and threats to the IT infrastructure. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external partners. Requirements Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices. Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT architectures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is an asset. Certification in TOGAF or Zachman is an advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is desirable. Education Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of experience as Enterprise Architect or similar role. Benefits Competitive salary package.
