ZauberMerch stands for magical everyday moments, cozy retreats, Witchy Vibes, Booklover-Ästhetics and a community that loves Fantasy, Halloween, Tea, Books and special rituals.

We are looking for a Video Cutter who understands this world and creates short, strong Social Media Content from existing video material. You will work directly with the founders, have access to a large and constantly growing content pool and help develop the visual language of ZauberMerch on Instagram and TikTok.

We value that you don't just cut videos, but have a sense for atmosphere, timing, aesthetics and community.

Aufgaben

You will regularly cut Social Media Videos for ZauberMerch and bring our witchy, spooky, cozy brand world visually to the point.

Your tasks include:

• Cutting of 2-3 very short aesthetic videos per day, e.g. product moments, tea rituals, cozy scenes, Witchy details or mood videos
• Cutting of approximately one longer video per day with more dynamics, stronger cuts, text overlays, stickers, zooms, transitions and storytelling
• Creation of videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
• Editing of existing video material from our content pool
• Selection of suitable scenes, moments, details and atmospheres
• Incorporation of texts, stickers, sound effects, music, subtitles and visual accents
• Use of a recognizable ZauberMerch cutting style
• Tight collaboration with Sarah and Stefan as founder team
• Fast implementation of content ideas, trends, launches and seasonal campaigns

The videos usually remain under 3 minutes. The focus lies on high quality, strong brand feeling and regular output.

Qualifikation

You don't need classical agency experience. Much more important is that you have a strong sense for Social Media, aesthetics and emotional brand worlds.

You fit in well with us if:

• You have experience cutting Reels, TikToks, Shorts or similar Social Media content
• You bring a good feeling for timing, music, cuts, text placement and visual dynamics
• You intuitively understand witchy, spooky, cozy, fantasy, BookTok or Nerd aesthetics
• You are reliable, fast and independent in your work
• You recognize the strongest moments from a lot of raw material
• You have a high output and continuous content production
• You are open to feedback and can quickly adapt to a brand
• You are familiar with editing software like CapCut
• You have an eye for details, atmosphere, colors and Social Media trends

You fit in particularly well with us if you yourself enjoy consuming content on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube Shorts and understand why some videos hang around and others are immediately scrolled away.
