I am Leander Rau – independent videographer with over 7 years of experience. I shoot nationwide for agencies and companies: Social Media Content, Personal Branding, Corporate videos, and more.

My workload is growing – both my own shootings as well as external inquiries that I can no longer handle alone. Therefore, I am looking for a reliable freelance force for video editing who will work with me long-term and regularly.

No 9-to-5. No office. Pure remote – on project basis with real perspective on recurring orders.

Tasks

- Editing of Social Media videos (mainly Reels / short videos, 30 seconds to 2 minutes)

- Processing of raw material according to briefing or creative own judgment

- Color grading and basic audio processing

- Integration of captions / subtitles

- Creation of simple motion graphics and overlays

- Export in various formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1)

- Communication about progress, deadlines, and potential delays – proactive and reliable

Qualification

- Proven experience in video editing, ideally with Social-Media-Content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

- Secure handling of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro

- Knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects or Fusion are a plus)

- Sense for editing rhythm, pacing, and native social content look – no overproduced advertising style

- Reliability: deadlines will be met or deviations will be communicated early on

- Clear, structured communication – in German

- Independent work without long coordination loops

- Portfolio or showreel with relevant working examples is strictly required
