The German Relief Association (DEHIB) is a rising umbrella organization for modern civil society work with a focus on structure building, impact, and leadership in the non-profit sector. We create structures that combine responsibility, professionalism, and future orientation.

We are still looking for an outstanding personality as Vice President People & Culture, who with foresight, resilience, and inner drive shapes a new culture of professional volunteering.

Note: This is an honorary position, regardless of how individual job boards may automatically classify it. The time commitment amounts to approximately 5-8 hours per week.

Tasks

• Strategic responsibility for the People & Culture department within the federal association
• BUILDING and steering modern HR structures for a digital volunteering system
• Development of training and further education offers for volunteers in cooperation with specialist partners
• Fostering a motivating, value-oriented association culture
• BUILDING processes for personnel acquisition, engagement binding, and leadership development
• Closely cooperating with the federal board on strategic personnel matters

Qualification

• Outstanding intrinsic motivation and resilience in a dynamic environment
• Strategic foresight, organizational talent, and high self-responsibility
• Experience in HR, leadership, or organizational development (also from the private or non-profit sector)
• Pleasure in building new structures and inspiring people
• Reliability, integrity, and enthusiasm for professional association work
• Readiness to also actively engage during the Christmas and transition periods
