Vice President - APAC Head of APAC IT User Support

Description The VP - APAC Head of IT User Support is responsible for the oversight, management, and continuous improvement of IT helpdesk services across all Asia-Pacific (APAC) locations. This individual will lead a distributed team of IT Support Engineers, ensuring exceptional technical support delivery, efficient incident and service request management, and proactive management of IT infrastructure. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the APAC region's unique cultural and business environments. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective IT user support strategies to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders across multiple countries. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and end-users. • Collaborating with other regional and global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in IT service delivery. • Identifying and addressing technical and process gaps to improve overall IT user support quality and efficiency. • Developing and managing budgets for IT user support initiatives and projects. • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess: • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology). • At least 8 years of experience in IT user support management or a related role. • Proven track record of successfully leading distributed teams and managing complex IT projects. • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and industry best practices. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
