Tasks

• Preparation, review, and monitoring of contracts and contract amendments in collaboration with the legal department
• Proactive support during contract execution, including risk assessment, claim management, and subsequent negotiations
• Monitoring of contract periods, termination dates, and extensions
• Summarization of contract information and explanation of content and effects to our colleagues
• Implementation and maintenance of a digital contract management system
• Review and active further development of contract standards in collaboration with our legal department
• Closely working together with technical project leadership, construction site leadership, funding agencies, and authorities
• Support in procurement, tenders, and awards

Qualification

• Degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field of study
• Basic understanding of business and law for contracts to grasp, understand, and rephrase contents
• Good knowledge of construction contract law (VOB/B, BGB), post-contract management, and practical contract implementation
• Deep understanding of economic, legal, and technical interdependencies
• High IT affinity, preferably with experience in digital contract tools and safe handling of common MS Office products
• Excellent communication skills, confident demeanor, and negotiation security in all situations
• Structured, solution-oriented work style and high level of self-responsibility
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
