Shipping Assistant (m/w/d)

As Shipping Assistant (m/w/d) you will support our department G.RAU inTEC in handling and storing various materials, parts, auxiliary and inventory items. In this context, you are part of a sympathetic team that is involved in ensuring the smooth operation of production.

The following tasks belong to your job description:

Storing Parts/Materials

• You are responsible for conducting incoming inspections on goods, recording data (e.g. quantity, weight) and subsequent visual inspection/quality control
• The entry of goods into the internal warehouse and monitoring of inventory levels in the company's system belong to your tasks as well

Issuing Parts/Materials

• You assemble goods according to order and package them for shipping
• The issuance and preparation of goods takes place using suitable transportation equipment
• You record data on inventory withdrawals and conduct stock control
• You support in inventory work

Disposal of Waste Materials

• According to order, you determine and document the weights of waste materials and report them further
• You take over accounting, intermediate storage, and disposal of waste materials
• The provision of waste containers for shipping is within your area of responsibility
