What you will do:

As a nurse at De Vlaamse Ardennen, you combine nursing expertise with warm, person-centered care. You professionally monitor residents and take co-responsibility for their care path. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to an environment where residents feel known, valued, and supported.

You will join a residential care center where residents and colleagues know and appreciate each other. Thanks to the small-scale approach, you build a strong bond with residents and their families. You work closely with doctors, caregivers, and other disciplines and are given the space to fully utilize your professional knowledge and experience. You can count on a close-knit team that supports each other and strives for quality care together.

Your tasks include:

Performing nursing procedures according to current guidelines;
Administering medication and monitoring parameters;
Observing and reporting changes in residents' health status;
Monitoring and updating care plans and care files;
Maintaining contact with residents, family members, and doctors;
Undertaking administrative tasks to support quality care

Requirements:

You are a nurse with a heart for elderly care. You combine expertise with empathy and enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Furthermore, we require:

A Nursing Diploma (HBO5, Basic Nursing, Associate's Degree, or Professional Bachelor) with a valid visa;
A good knowledge of Dutch;
The ability to work independently and function well within a team;
Smooth collaboration with doctors and other disciplines;
Willingness to support and guide caregivers.
