As a nurse within this team, you are central to the care for patients. No day is the same, because your role is both challenging and versatile. You not only contribute to the best possible treatment, but also to the warm, personal approach for which UZ Brussel is known.

What are you going to do:

• Observe, analyze and respond to changes in the health status of patients.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, therapists and other healthcare professionals.


• Active involvement in treatment plans and care decisions.


• Provide support to families and relatives of patients in understandable language and with empathy.


• Provide patients and their families with education and information about the conditions and treatment options.

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse who recognizes themselves in the following characteristics:

• Passion for nursing: you have a nursing diploma.


• Language skills: Dutch is the language within UZ Brussel, and it is important that you are fluent in this language. A basic knowledge of French is a plus.


• Empathetic and patient-oriented: you have an eye for the person behind the patient and radiate calm and confidence.


• Stress-resistant and flexible: you can switch quickly and maintain an overview in acute situations.


• Eager to learn: you are eager to continue to develop your knowledge and skills.
