Mobile Vaccination Team Nurse

About the position As a mobile vaccination team nurse, you will contribute to the safe and careful administration of vaccines to non-mobile home-dwelling persons (NMTW). You work within an engaged team that is committed to public health in Midden- and Noord-Limburg. With your knowledge of vaccinations and infection prevention, you ensure that clients are well-informed and that the vaccinations are carried out according to guidelines. This requires an empathetic attitude, meticulous administrative skills and a strong sense of responsibility. As a mobile vaccination team nurse, you will be responsible for: • Administering vaccines in accordance with the guidelines and protocols; • Providing information to clients about the vaccinations and their importance; • Maintaining accurate records of vaccinations administered; • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that the vaccinations are carried out safely and effectively; • Participating in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges and best practices. Requirements: • A degree in nursing or a related field; • Experience in vaccination administration and infection prevention; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software.
