Packaging Worker

What will you do?

We are looking for enthusiastic packaging workers for a leading company specialized in the production of plant-based products.

In this role, you will start your workday by carefully preparing and setting up the workstations, entirely according to the schedule. You will build the machines, set them up accurately, and ensure that all necessary goods and packaging materials are ready. Before the production process starts, you will thoroughly check everything. You will also ensure that the finished product is properly transported.

Throughout the day, you will keep a sharp eye on the packaging line. Thanks to your technical knowledge, you can adjust the machines if necessary, so that the production process runs optimally. Hygiene and quality always come first; you will ensure that all work activities meet the high standards set out in the quality manual.

In addition, administrative tasks are part of your responsibilities. You will accurately fill in the production forms and process the production orders in Reflex. At the end of your shift, you will ensure that the department is left tidy and organized. You will also guide your colleagues on the packaging line, so that the entire process runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will work in this challenging role in a 2-shift schedule, where more than 12,000 packages per line are processed. Part of the work will take place in a high-care environment, where products are packaged in containers and then provided with a customer-specific sleeve or label, shelf life information, and repackaging.

This is you!

• You have experience in a production company;
• You are strong in planning and organizing and can quickly adapt to a dynamic and complex environment;
• You show initiative, have a forward-thinking approach, and possess a true doer's mentality;
• You are willing to work in extended or 2-shift schedules and do not mind occasionally working on Saturdays.;
• You possess good communication skills and are proficient in the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing;
