For our renowned customer in the medical technology industry in Erlangen, we are looking for an experienced packaging developer (m/w/d) who develops and is responsible for product-specific packaging solutions for worldwide shipping, taking into account international regulatory requirements. Your tasks: Construction and further development of product-specific packaging solutions for worldwide shipping, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and statutory provisions. Ensuring conformity with various national and international standards, laws, and guidelines (training will be provided). Planning, organization, and implementation of packaging tests and validations. Responsibility for the entire packaging construction in a regulated environment. Your profile: Completed Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering or comparable qualification. Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including several years of experience in design. In-depth knowledge in the field of packaging development and construction. Good knowledge of global regulatory requirements, particularly EU Directive 2025/40 (PPWR) and EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC or EU Machinery Ordinance 2023/1230. Experience in the theme area Sustainability and Circularity in the context of packaging, transport, and logistics. Expert knowledge in NX/Teamcenter or comparable 3D-CAD tools. Advanced SAP knowledge. Basic knowledge of welding technologies is an advantage. Fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking. Your benefit: Above-market remuneration.
