Sales Specialist 24 - 32 hours

What will you do as a sales specialist?

In this role, you will be the point of contact for customers with questions about their DIY projects. You ensure that they leave the store not only with the right products but also with confidence. Your tasks include:
• Actively approaching customers and providing targeted advice on their DIY projects and material choices
• Deepening your knowledge in a specific product range and becoming a specialist in it
• Recognizing and seizing commercial opportunities on the shop floor
• Collaborating with colleagues and helping each other
• Ensuring a neat, organized, and customer-friendly store environment

What you bring:

To be successful, it is important that the following fits well:
• Experience in a retail environment (Retail, hardware store, or consumer goods)
• Passion for customer advice and results-oriented work
• Listening skills and the ability to switch gears quickly
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
• Flexible availability: available during the day, in the evening, and/or on weekends (in consultation)

What we offer you:

• Versatile role for 24-32 hours per week, with a lot of room for independence.
• A gross monthly salary, depending on your age and experience, in accordance with the DIY industry collective labor agreement.
• Plenty of training opportunities through our Retail Academy.
• Travel expenses in accordance with internal regulations and 15% employee discount on purchases at GAMMA.
• 24 vacation days and a holiday allowance of 8%.
