Sales Assistant 32 - 40 hours

Are you customer-oriented, curious about building materials, and looking for a varied job where you learn a lot? Then this part-time sales assistant position at GAMMA Hoogeveen is for you. You will help customers with their DIY questions, provide advice on products, and ensure a tidy store. This way, you learn daily and build valuable work experience, even without prior experience.

What will you do as a sales assistant?

In this role, you are the point of contact for customers in the store. You ensure that they leave with the right products and a good feeling, and want to come back again. Your tasks include:
• Advising customers on products and applications
• Learning about materials and tools to improve your advice continuously
• Ensuring a tidy, well-organized store
• Collaborating with colleagues to put the customer first and make the store even more profitable
• Brainstorming on how we can do even better every day

What you bring:

Experience in Retail or construction is a plus, but not a requirement. What we are mainly looking for in someone:
• Eagerness to learn and interest in customer contact and collaboration for better results
• An active attitude: asking questions and listening carefully to be truly helpful
• Some commercial drive
• Proficiency in the Dutch language and keeping commitments
• Flexible availability: during the day, in the evening, and/or on weekends (in consultation)
