Tasks

• Transport planning with foresight: You take over the fundamental planning of public transportation in our region. Together with the Verkehrsgesellschaft Oberhessen (VGO), you ensure that traffic solutions from today also meet the needs of tomorrow.
• Public transportation plan and more: You work on updating and re-designing our public transportation plan and bring your expertise into matters involving carriers of public interest (TÖB) – because a prosperous region needs reliable mobility.
• Innovative traffic projects: You design new traffic offers and mobility projects that better connect our region. In close cooperation with municipalities, the RMV, passenger organizations, and transportation companies, you create offers that move people.
• Your network counts: As a representative of ZOV, you participate in RMV working groups and build valuable connections to all relevant partners.

Qualification

• Fachkenntnisse: A completed degree (Dipl.-Ing. TU/TH or Master) in transportation planning, traffic engineering, geography, or urban and regional planning, as well as experience in transportation planning form your foundation.
• Erfahrung und Überblick: You have a deep understanding of the task assignment in public transportation, know the legal framework conditions, and have a sense for traffic- and municipal political connections.
• Kommunikation und Innovation: You think in concepts, are structured, innovation-friendly, and strong in communication – even when you appear in public or before decision-making bodies.
• Flexibilität und Engagement: Business trips and evening appointments see you as part of a diverse activity that brings you joy.
