Road Traffic Office

Around 460 employees work at nine locations at the Road Traffic Office of the Canton of Zurich. Our task is traffic safety in the Canton of Zurich. We are responsible for the registration and inspection of vehicles and ships, for driving tests, for administrative measures, and for collecting traffic fees. We are looking for traffic experts for the Zurich-Albisgütli, Bülach, Regensdorf, and Bassersdorf Road Traffic Offices.

In the field of vehicle and driver testing, you can expect diverse, structured, technical tasks and intensive contact with our customers. The responsible activity of a traffic expert also requires a high level of understanding of the legal framework of road traffic law.

• Degree as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician or Automotive Specialist (if possible with a focus on commercial vehicles), Agricultural Machinery or Construction Machinery Mechanic
• Enjoyment of working with a wide variety of people
• A professional, confident, and respectful demeanor
• Quick comprehension and the motivation to always keep your knowledge up to date
• Minimum age of 24 years and no driver's license suspension in the last 5 years
