Plastics Technician (m/w/d) Kunststofftechnik

We are an innovative, export-oriented, mid-sized company in the plastics processing industry with a seat in Georgensgmünd, near Roth, and around 160 employees. Our market-leading products – filter elements for solid-liquid separation from polymers and metallic materials – find worldwide application in the investment goods industry and contribute significantly to our global market presence.

Tasks

Development and Testing

• Development and further development of JVK products
• Development, planning, setup, and operation of test and testing equipment
• Planning and conducting filtration tests, as well as systematic evaluation and assessment of the results
• Conducting suitability and functional tests on JVK products
• Conducting laboratory tests on materials
• Error analysis and evaluation of statistical test results

Process Engineering Calculations and Process Development

• Carrying out process engineering and product-related calculations
• Further development and optimization of existing production processes
• Supporting the introduction of new manufacturing methods
• Creating technical specifications and test criteria for quality assurance

Consultative Support to Production and Manufacturing

• Manufacturing raw materials using the extrusion process
• Assembling components through welding processes
• Improving product quality

Customer and Technology Assignments

• Technical consulting for customers on process engineering and product-related questions
• Supporting tests and process developments in our own technology center or at the customer's site

Knowledge Management

• Maintaining and documenting existing technical knowledge

Qualification

• Completed university degree: Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology
• Willingness to travel, customer visits, and trade shows
• Knowledge of process and preparation technologies
• Knowledge of solid-liquid separation (filtration) is advantageous
• Knowledge of CAD, FEM, and CFD is desirable
• Solid English and German language skills in writing and speaking
