Job Description
For a stable family-run SME active in storage and warehousing solutions, we are looking for a Manager of Stock Management & Safety. In this versatile role, you will ensure correct inventory management and play an important role in the company's safety policy.

Your tasks:

STOCK MANAGEMENT
- You are responsible for the receipt and control of all incoming goods.
- You correctly register new items in the ERP system and put them into stock.
- You monitor the quality of the received goods.
- You manage the entire inventory and ensure that all stock movements are processed correctly.
- You organize stock counts and accurately process the results in the system.
- You optimize the organization of stock and stock locations.
- You assemble saleable lots based on incoming goods and available stock.
- You ensure that these lots are correctly registered and published.
- You support the daily management of logistics employees and ensure a smooth flow of goods.

SAFETY & PREVENTION
- You take on the role of prevention advisor or are willing to follow the necessary training for it.
- You ensure that the company complies with all legal obligations regarding safety and well-being at work.
- You follow up on inspections, certificates, risk analyses, and safety documents.
- You provide advice to management on safety and prevention.
- You actively contribute to a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintenance & Technical Follow-up
- You are responsible for the follow-up of rolling stock and machinery.
- You plan and follow up on maintenance and repair work.
- You support colleagues with technical questions and problems.
- You roll up your sleeves yourself when necessary and are regularly present on the shop floor.


Profile Who are we looking for?
- You have a strong interest in logistics, stock management, and safety.
- You are willing to follow the Prevention Advisor Level 3 training or already possess the certificate.
- You work very accurately and structured.
- You like to take responsibility and maintain an overview.
- You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
- Technical matters interest you and do not deter you.
- You can easily use computer applications and quickly learn new systems.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
- You are a team player who can guide and support colleagues.
