Job description

About Us

Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: we want to specifically leverage the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life - for all people.

We achieved a first major milestone on this path as early as 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to significantly improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its efficacy and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies - including in renowned specialist journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and mental disorders. In short: we are investigating how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Today, we are among the fastest-growing healthcare companies worldwide. We reach our customers through various channels: direct communication with doctors and pharmacists, as well as print, TV, and digital marketing. To further expand our strongly growing business in Europe, we are looking for outstanding talents to support us in this mission. Our goal is clearly defined: By 2028, we want to make Kijimea the world's largest DTC probiotic brand, thereby giving over 50 million people a better life each year.

Does this sound exciting to you? Then apply now! We look forward to getting to know you.

Your Mission With Us

Do you want to take a key role in the marketing strategy of one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare companies and take responsibility from day one? Then you are exactly right with us! Together with our Management Board and a strong Online Marketing team, you will define and implement our marketing strategy and cross-channel budget management for existing and new international markets with your analytical skills to a new level. • You will put the developed concepts for new and existing channels into practice, taking into account all regulatory and brand strategy requirements, and create scalable blueprints for future expansion.

  • You will analyze the performance of our content in detail with the Online Marketing team, evaluate relevant KPIs such as click-through rate, dwell time, and conversion rate, and develop new iteration levels for sustainable optimization based on these findings.

  • You will continuously develop our creative assets by incorporating performance data, industry innovations, and current design trends, thus ensuring long-term business success.

Your Profile

  • You see yourself as a doer and are eager to help shape the next innovations in the pharmaceutical sector in an environment with fast decision-making processes. Important: You do NOT need pharmaceutical or healthcare experience.
