Venture Developer (m/f/d)

Transparency upfront: This is the Venture Developer role – a permanent position with an annual salary of €60-75k, depending on experience. It is NOT the Founder/Managing Director role: If you want to take over a venture directly as a founder (full managing director responsibility from Day 1), apply for our separate Co-Founder advertisement. As a Venture Developer, you can develop into exactly this Founder track over approximately two years.

Here's how our process works – no step without timely feedback: 1. Get-to-know-you call (20-30 min.), 2. Big Five assessment on our own platform (15-20 min.), 3. Short partner call (20 min.), 4. Case study with deep dive, 5. References & offer.

About the work location: The role starts remotely (Germany). However, we are building an office in Germany – preferably Berlin or Munich – where the venture teams will be formed, and where we expect you to be present regularly, at the latest with your team.

Tasks

• Venture Development: You identify, structure, and validate new business models – from the idea to a robust setup.
• Testing & Iteration: You develop MVPs, test hypotheses in the market, and continuously optimize.
• Operational Implementation: You build initial processes, acquire customers, and bring ventures to early traction.
• Scaling Readiness: You prepare successful models for scaling or spin-off.
• Optional – Founder Track: You can take over a venture as a co-founder and lead it long-term.

Qualifications

• Experience in building projects, startups, or new business areas
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high level of execution strength
• Ability to move quickly from concept to execution
• High self-motivation and ownership
• Very good communication skills
• Openness to different industries and business models (including "unsexy" markets)
• Very good German and English language skills
