Venture Building & Operations Excellence Manager (m/w/d)

We are building the Energy OS for multi-family homes at VREY.

Why? In over 3 million MFHs in Germany, there are almost no PV systems – current penetration: 0.2%. We're changing that: With the "Community-Based Building Services" (CBBS), which was enabled by the Solar Package 1 in 2024, we're creating the economic and legal prerequisites for PV & storage, as well as heat pump & electric vehicle to finally become a reality in multi-family homes.

Our goal: To make multi-family homes central building blocks of decentralized energy transition using smart software.

Aufgaben

Implementation of decentralized energy supply in multi-family homes

• Planning, coordination, and operational implementation of CBBS projects with PV, heat pump, and intelligent measurement system in multi-family home (MFH)
• Closely working with installation partners, owners, and network operators to ensure a smooth project workflow

BUILDING SCALABLE INTERNAL PROCESSES

• Development, structuring, and documentation of standardized workflows for implementing decentralized energy supply in multi-family homes
• Identifying operational bottlenecks and developing efficient solutions

Venture-Building & Organizational Development

• Co-shaping an operating model that enables VREY to scale CBBS projects across many buildings and locations
• Supporting the setup of new teams, roles, and responsibilities in the context of growth

PROCESS OPTIMIZATION & AUTOMATION

• Analyzing existing processes (e.g., project development, customer communication, internal handovers) and deriving improvement measures
• Designing data-driven workflows and building automated processes in our internal systems

DATEN, INSIGHTS & DECISION-MAKING FOUNDATIONS

• Creating structured reporting on the performance of our operational workflows
• Prioritizing decision-relevant information for management

STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION

• Closely working with Product, Operations, and external partners to ensure smooth workflows
• Precise documentation and communication of processes, requirements, and responsibilities

Qualification

• You have already gained first professional experience in Consulting (Tier 1/Tier 2), High-Growth Startups (e.g., scaling project workflows) or VC – preferably in the energy or real estate sector
• You think entrepreneurially, work independently, and have a good sense of priorities
• You have a high interest in real estate, energy, or startups – prior experience is a plus, but not a must
• You're looking for a job that's not 9-to-5, but wants to shape the future in a high-pace, founder-near environment
• You're comfortable with common office programs and able to quickly learn new software – knowledge of CRM software and data analysis tools is also an asset
• You're based in Berlin (or willing to relocate) – our office is our home base
• You speak German and English fluently
