£31,827 - £35,000 per annum Average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per annum (with potential to earn more) 5 days a week Earn extra with our refer a friend scheme – T&C’s Apply Here at Halfords, we’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you’re an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, we want to hear from you. As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards, as well as conducting servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to work efficiently and to a high standard, with a focus on safety and attention to detail. What you’ll be doing: * Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards * Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles * Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with company procedures * Provide excellent customer service * Maintain a clean and tidy workspace What you’ll need: * A full UK driving licence * A relevant automotive qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) * A valid MOT Tester’s Licence * Experience in a similar role * Excellent communication and customer service skills * A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality Benefits: * Competitive salary * Uncapped bonus potential * 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Employee discount * Pension scheme * Training and development opportunities * Refer a friend scheme
