As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You’ll have the ability to carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tyre rotations. You may also be required to diagnose and repair faults with vehicles, including electrical systems, air conditioning, and other components. In addition, you may need to perform more complex repairs, such as engine overhauls or transmission replacements. Your work will involve working in a fast-paced environment, often under time pressure, and you must be able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of your work, including details of the services performed and any parts replaced.
