They define services from a business perspective, both with and without automation. They make an initial grouping of services in components, using principles based on business objectives and constraints. The VDI Automation Architect will design and implement automated solutions for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to improve efficiency, scalability, and manageability. This includes developing and maintaining scripts, workflows, and other automation tools. The role requires strong understanding of VDI technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Linux operating systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and familiarity with automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, or Git. Additionally, knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure management tools like Azure is a plus.
