Job Title: Value Optimization Engineer – Interiors Location: Remote Experience Level: 3 years of experience Job Overview: We are seeking a Value Optimization Engineer – Interiors with 3 years of experience to support cost reduction and value improvement initiatives for interior components. This role focuses on identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining performance, quality, and design intent across automotive interior systems. Key Responsibilities: Analyze interior components (trim, upholstery, and other materials) to identify areas for cost reduction without compromising performance or quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that drive value and reduce costs. Develop and maintain detailed cost models and analyses to support business cases for new product development and production ramp-ups. Identify and prioritize opportunities for cost savings through material substitutions, design changes, and manufacturing process improvements. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with company standards. Provide recommendations to stakeholders on how to optimize interior components while maintaining performance, quality, and design intent. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal customers.
