Value Optimization Engineer - HVAC/ PWT

The VO Engineer – HVAC Engine is responsible for driving value optimization initiatives within HVAC & Engine systems under the Propulsion domain. This role focuses on cost optimization, technical benchmarking, system-level improvements, and cross-functional value initiatives , without direct responsibility for detailed parts design or CAD modeling. The position ensures alignment between engineering, purchasing, suppliers, and program teams to deliver cost-effective and performance-optimized solutions that meet customer needs and expectations. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing value optimization strategies and initiatives across HVAC & Engine systems • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements • Analyzing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of value optimization initiatives and identifying areas for further improvement • Providing technical guidance and support to engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure alignment with value optimization goals • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC & Engine systems to continuously improve value optimization strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC & Engine systems, as well as experience in cost optimization, technical benchmarking, and system-level improvements.
