We are looking for a leading company in maritime plant and shipbuilding with its headquarters in Hamburg, to fill the position of Value Engineer (w/m/d) at the earliest possible time.

Tasks

Your tasks as Value Engineer (w/m/d)
• Evaluation and optimization of product and manufacturer costs, as well as identification of potential savings
• Commercial analysis of offers, derivation of action recommendations, and implementation of cost reduction strategies
• Creation of cost breakdowns and support in make-or-buy decisions through comprehensive analyses
• Close cooperation with procurement and technology to develop module strategies

Qualification

Your profile
• Completed studies in a technical field or comparable technical training
• Experience in cost calculation, as well as knowledge of production and manufacturing with different technologies from an advantage
• Desirable: professional experience in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, HVAC, or electrical equipment
• Fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking
