Head – Validation & Homologation

Virya Electric Powertrains, part of the Maini Group, is looking for a seasoned Head – Validation & Homologation to lead vehicle and component validation, testing, and regulatory compliance for conventional and electric vehicle programs. Key Responsibilities: Own and drive end-to-end vehicle & component validation strategy (mechanical, electrical, powertrain). Lead DVP&R planning, execution, issue resolution, and validation sign-offs. Head all homologation and type approval activities ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Ensure seamless integration of new technologies and innovations into existing product lines. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective testing strategies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Provide expert guidance on validation methodologies, tools, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Validation & Homologation team. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 8+ years of experience in vehicle or component validation, testing, and regulatory compliance; Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508); Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; Experience with DVP&R tools and methodologies (e.g., DOORS, Jama); Familiarity with electric vehicle powertrains and components.
