Validation Engineer

Job Summary Validation Engineer – Reliability & Environmental Testing is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing reliability tests for new and mass-production products in the Reliability Test Laboratory. This role ensures product reliability through environmental, mechanical, and ongoing reliability testing (ORT), supports failure analysis, manages test equipment, and meets customer requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. New Product Reliability Testing Develop and execute reliability tests for new products to ensure they meet customer requirements. 2. Mass Production Reliability Testing Plan, execute, and analyze reliability tests for mass-production products to identify potential issues before they become problems. 3. Environmental Testing Conduct environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration, etc.) to simulate real-world conditions and ensure product reliability. 4. Mechanical Testing Perform mechanical testing (drop test, shock test, etc.) to evaluate product durability and resistance to physical stress. 5. Ongoing Reliability Testing Continuously monitor and analyze ongoing reliability testing (ORT) data to identify trends and potential issues. Supports Failure Analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve product failures. Manages Test Equipment Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Meets Customer Requirements Ensure that all testing activities meet customer requirements and expectations.
