RUSHINGWIND Publishing is looking for a Copy Editor & Proofreader to work on the revision of our books, materials, and editorial projects.

We are looking for someone extremely detail-oriented.

This person will be one of the last lines of quality before content reaches the public.

Main responsibilities:

• Review spelling and grammar.

• Correct punctuation and agreement.

• Ensure consistency of language and terminology.

• Verify names, dates, and references.

• Review biblical references.

• Standardize titles and subtitles.

• Identify typographical inconsistencies.

• Review typeset proofs.

• Compare versions and changes.

• Perform final proofreading before publication or printing.

Profile we are looking for:

• Excellent command of the Portuguese language.

• Professional experience with text revision.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Organization and discipline.

• Ability to work with extensive materials.

• Ease in following style guides and editorial standards.

Experience with books, Christian literature, or biblical content will be a differentiator.
