Job Description Summary Start your volunteer experience with The Salvation Army today by applying for the V- Supervising Driver/Mentor role. As a V- Supervising Driver/Mentor, you will be responsible for mentoring and supervising drivers who are part of our fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others while gaining valuable experience and skills. Key Responsibilities: • Mentor and supervise drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate vehicles safely and efficiently. • Provide guidance and support to drivers to help them develop their driving skills and confidence. • Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order and report any issues to management. • Develop and implement training programs for drivers to improve their skills and knowledge. • Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall performance of our fleet. Requirements: • 2+ years experience in a supervisory or mentoring role, preferably in the transport industry. • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
